Over 40 years experience in computer industry designing, implementing, evaluating, and testing user interfaces: 17 years as an employee at Cromemco, Xerox, US West, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Microsystems before becoming a consultant, and 27 years as a UI consultant.

Extensive experience designing and conducting objective, systematic usability tests.

Experienced at setting up usability testing facilities.

Experienced speaker and instructor.

Assistant Professor in Computer Science, University of San Francisco (now retired).

Formerly visiting Assistant Professor in Computer Science, Mills College.
